build date

I have an 07 with a build date of 9/06, is this the newest version of the 6.0? BTW I have 3,500 miles on the clock, pulled my 10,000# fiver to the usual camp site. That pull has some pretty steep grades, and this truck walks over them like it is empty! My other truck was an 02 7.3 With quite a few mods & this truck stock will pull slightly better than it! (my other truck had more pedal to go but ran out of egt) This truck is completly stock, god I love the torque shift. This site is the best!

I *think* they started to use commonized components on engines with a build date after JAN 18, but don't hold me to that.

'02STROKER,

Commonization engine was put into trucks starting January 11, 2006.

Here is the link to the running changes of the 6.0 in the Tech folder
http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/52...ml#post3974497

FYI in January 2007 the 6.4L PSD engines were installed in the SD.

Hope this helps
