Multiple electrical problms 2003 E-150
Hi,
I'm a new subcriber, I have a 2003 E-150 Conversion Van Mfg by Elkhorn Industries ( Limited Edition ) and I have had multiple problems happening at the same time or so it seems !
The following problems seem to be all related to electrical cause but I need some guidence to finding the root to all of the things that are happening.
Dome lights will not come on when door is opened or if dimmer switch is turned, Mirror vanity lights do not light, The Temp / Compass does not come on ,Right front & rear power lock switches do not work, Dash AC control will not select dash of floor vents ( AC Blows from defroster vents ) Rear air will not change over from heat to AC ( Blows only hot air )
Now for the real weird part when I use the keyless entry the all the dome lights come on ,Vanity mirrors light , Compass lights up. These Items remain on until the timer turns of the entry lights. But if turn the ignition on while the lights are on and the side door is open all the lights and the compass remain on including the vanity mirrors when opened.
Note : The above does not have any effect on the AC Problem nor the door locks.
I hope someone has some Ideas or can e-mail me some circuit diagrams.

Your van's electrical is pretty complicated with all kinds of modules and a communication network. You may have to have it scanned at a dealer to find the problem.
