Cupholder???
Has anyone ever removed the cupholder from the dash in a 1997 F150? Pretty sure its the same dash all the way to 2003 also. Mine was in the extended position the other day and i knocked it hard with my knee, now it doesn't lock out on the passenger side. If I push side to side it has play, but the drivers side still locks out. Any ideas if I broke something or just popped something out of place?

If I remember right, you have to take the trim piece that goes around the radio off. Then you will be able to see a couple of screws that holds the cupholder in. Open the cupholder and remove the ashtray, and I think theres another screw under there.
Im not 100% sure, as I never really paid much attention when I was replacing my heater core. I was just removing every screw in sight...hahaha!
