gauge install??????????

have had the gauges for almost two weeks and waiting for paint////any problmes ith tapping the manifold(exhaust) and also for boost and running them into the cab without hooking them up? Have a few days off and want to get the tough stuff done so if I ever get the paint it will go pretty quick....I would tape off the boost tubing line so it dont suck air...Thanks

Drilling and tapping for the Pyro won't be a problem since you are just running an electric wire into the cab. The boost gauge is mechanical and you would have an open vacuum line in the cab. Also drill and tap the CAC elbow so that you don't get any flutter in the gauge. Teeing into the boost line at the firewall has a tendency to cause the gauge to flutter. You can drill and tap the elbow and then install a plug in the elbow until you get your gauges installed.
