how do i make a pic from 2.7 MB to 200 kb ? do i need to take all my pic's with a different camra,or is there a way to reduce them on the computer? now ya'll know im a complete computer dummy so please plain english.
photoshop is a very expensive program last time i checked.
if you have microsoft office on your computer check and see if you have miccrosoft office picture manager. it should come bundled... all you do is open the picture and mine automatically brought up a sidebar on the right that was the compress pictures settings. i'm sure there's a way to get that bar to open if it doesn't automatically.. you click the option you want, *it gives you the new file sizes at the bottom of the sidebar* and compress away!
no matter what program you end up using, it'd prolly be a good idea to keep a copy of your original picture in case you ever want to send someone the higher resolution file for whatever reason. just save your compressed version as a different file name that lets you know it's your compressed version.... *shrug*
is that hp program the only one you've got for pictures?
well i can use that one or hp document veiwer.ill have to look for the one you said.im not shure what i have any more we just got a big hit yesterday.147 virises got in and it took the wife almost 12hours to get'em all gone
how the hell you accomplish 147 viruses??? dang dude! are you running windows xp? if so, do you have the firewall turned on at all?? might also be a good idea to block cookies and bla bla bla depending on how they got in..

How about "photo resizer". It's free.
You just resize your photos and save them.
Then delete the original larger (2.7 MB) photos; or burn them on a CD; just in case.
good to know.. avoid foxfire at all costs... *shaking my head*
i snuck mcafee from my work computer's subscription and i have the firewall as close as possible to locked down.. i already lost one computer to viruses .. not doing another one...
