Wet Spot in Cab

I've got a 2004 f-150 Supercrew that has developed a wet spot in the center of the driver side floorboard. I haven't noticed any water coming from the top of the dash. Any idea what might be under there that could be leaking? Thanks in advance for any advice!

Is it just a circle of water? Can you tell if it is coming from any area (like if there was a wet trail from the transmission hump or something)?

Do you have the flow through center console with the shifter? If so, check your firewall just behind the brake pedal. There will be a circular cutout in the insulation material. Pull it back and see if the rubber plug is installed. I got lucky and caught mine before I drove through any big puddles. Dealer fixed it under warranty.
