Welp The 53 Or Whatever Year She Is Is Comin' Home Today . She's A Real Mystery Though, The Po And The Title Says 54 , I Ran The Vin Number Here On The Site And It Says Its A 55 6 Popper And Yet Everything On The Truck Is 53 , Trim Grille Etc. When She Comes Ill Check The Numbers On The Flatty And See What It Says . To Be Truthful Though I Don't Give A Rats Behind . She's In Really Good Shape And Flatty Powered And Legally Titled In My State . I Will Argue With The 'putor Later And Try To Get More Pics Of It Up . By The Way Heres The Vin No. In Case One Of You Can Figure More Out Than I : F10d5u13108 . I'm Figuring Somewhere Sumpthin' Got Switched !!

I would start looking for the VIN # on the frame, it should match the plate on the inside of the glove box door, and the # on your title. Is this #F10d5u13108 taken off of the tag in the glove box or from Title? The VIN# stamped on the frame can be found in various places from the cowl forward to the cross member that supports the radiator.

If it is a flatty and the original motor, it would have to be a '53. That was the last year for the flat heads in trucks. The parts are inter changeable so the frame would probably be the best place to get the VIN.

i'll look for the vin on the truck elsewhere but it is a 53 just appears to have had a tag switch . no prob i dont care as long as the state says im a legal begal im happy .
