Moth ball smell

My dad uses moth boalls in hi 1958 Pontiac to keep unwanted critters out in the winter. Does anyone know a way to get rid of this smell. Are there better (smelling) ways of keeping these critters out of his car?
Thanks

Take your buddies out for a ride after beer, chips, and Mexican food...

you could always put up some wooden figurines of cats next to the vehicle

If it has worked for him since 1958, I would probably stick with it. I bet that car is a bit of a classic now. Must keep the mousies away.

I have read that some garden supply stores have a repellent that can be used. I think it is Nicotine based.

Good Luck,

No, if it was better smelling the mice would eat it. Worse is not the damage, it is the smell from their urine that wrecks a car when mice invade. Your Dad is on the right track. You know, it keeps squirrels away too and they can be far worse then mice.
