Well I can't believe it.
I thought I imagined it the first two times I changed the oil.
I change the oil every 3000 miles and I use the Motor Craft 5w20 as recommended and the Motor Craft filter.
When the truck is first started after the oil change it knocks sounds like the lower end.
Its has 9000 miles on it know 5 months old.
I guess I have to take it to the dealer.
Any body else have this noise?

Mine doesn't do it, and I use the same oil and filter. Try filling the filter with oil before you put it on. This should help. I doubt the dealer will be any help. They will tell you this is normal and won't cause any problems.
Anyway, good luck!

I had the same problem with my '02 Screw, 4.6. When I change my oil now, I put one quart of 15-40 Rotella in first followed by 5 quarts of Motorcraft 5-20 and the knock on startup went away. My personal opinion, while synthetics have great oiling properties and flow characteristics, they don't stay on the job when the motor is turned off. It runs down in the pan leaving next to nothing on the internal parts for lube at startup. If you take any of the synthetics and put a drop on your finger, rub it around, now wipe it off. There is nothing on your finger. Try that with a good dino like Rotella. You have to wash it off. Just my experience.
I am thinking of trading it in. 1st the paint is falling off (blue) and now this. Since the wife drives it 99% of the time it will be up to her.

This is NORMAL. You've drained all of the oil out of the motor, and removed the filter and replaced it with one that is now dry and empty of oil. It takes a few seconds for the engine to pump up the oil after changing. As long as the noise goes away after about 30 seconds your fine.
