Vin Number meaning

Vin Number meaning
Does any body know the code to <!--StartFragment -->decipher the meaning of the vin number on the 2008 Super Duty. I'm tryng to find a 2008 F250 Super Cab with a standard bed in a Lariat pkg and 2WD and when I search the dealers web site they dont tell you much. Even if they show an invoice it does not tell you whether it is a SB or LB bed. They all show the vin number and I was hoping that if I was able to crack the code I could find the vehicle.

First off welcome to FTE lots of good people and info around here.
Unless it has just changed, the vin# will not tell you the bed length. The vin# will only tell you F-series, cab type, SRW or DRW and 2WD or 4WD.
Wheel base is on the vehicle certification sticker, drivers door pillar.
