yep, had a great one. Had Freedom Day on Saturday.....little woman and every female within a few hundred yards (aka: her family) were up north at a bridal shower, so i got to detail 3 vehicles, change my oil, etc etc.

then monday, i marched in a parade with my VFW, then performed 4 ceremonies....

Gee and I thought I was busy moving furniture Friday night and Saturday morning, cutting down tree branches, mowing and trimming the lawn, putting the summer tires on the Super Duty (rides so much better now ), trying to get my new PDA to sync with my home and work computers , babysitting grand kids, and of course celebrating Memorial Day with friends and family.

I have finally gotten to the point of seeing the light at the end of the tunnel with the unexpected 'remodel' of the master bedroom in my house. Over the last few weeks, the wife and I have been busy sanding the log walls down and sealing them with 3 coats of water based polyurethane, put 2 coats of oil based poly on the ceiling, repainted the other two walls, installed about 300 sq. ft. of solid hardwood flooring with the help of 2 brother in-laws in an afternoon, then sealed the floor with a sanding sealer and 3 coats of water based poly. Poly'd and re installed most of the baseboard trim and moved all of the furniture back in over last weekend. Still have a few doors to finish up with and then I am done. On Monday drove one of the fire trucks in two parades and attended a service after one of them.
