I have a 95 302 in a flareside and I put a set on......you can definately feel the difference in power. My 95 wouldn't hit the good power until 3200 rpm....with the pulleys it "spools up" faster and gets you into the power bandquicker.Ilike em...other people think they're a waste of money...but we allhave our opinions and experiences.

and flare sides experience is with a 2wd vehicle as well. If yours is a 4wd i would not go that route. anything that causes the cooling system and electrical system to slow down would not be good for 4wds that tend to tow, offroad and run lights, winch etc.. they work great for everyday driving from what i hear. if you drive in areas with a lot of stop/go traffic i would not recommend them either.

That's right Kemical...I should have stated that mine's 2wd.I haven't had any problems with cooling amps or anything else thus far.But you're right, you've got to consider what the truck is going to be doing alot of the time. While these pulleys give you great torque and the racers usually love em......they might not be what you'd want on a 4wd truck u like to play with.
