I just did a brake conversion on my 74 bronco I used the knuckles out on a 78 ford dana 44 I replaced everything except for the backing plates, dust covers and spindles. Some don't tell you about replacing the ball joints but I did those as well. As it turns out I probably spent about the same as I would have to get a kit but you could aquire some of the stuff cheaper than I did. I kinda got some wrong information on it. I would stick with a ford doner although chevy Dana 44 is compatible I think its alittle less hastle
