swap for swing-out tow mirrors

i've been looking at swapping my mirrors for the big swing-out style. i love the look of them and they seem pretty functional.

i have these:
http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/fd/0075.asp
(top right section, single position)

i'd like these:
http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/fd/0074.asp
(bottom right, like the first the best, second then third)

it says right on the website that they are universal mirrors, not direct replacements. anyone every swapped something like this? what about for the ones that do up and down the entire length of the window (i think they mount at the top and bottom). is it possible to patch the old holes pretty easily if i want to install new ones?

Patching the holes is no problem . I put the stock style large swing out ones on 6 of our F350-450 . You can see so much more.

I have the slip on mirror (towing mirrors ) when I haul the skidsteer with my F150

i still like the second ones i mentioned above, but does anyone know where i can find the HUGE ones. i'm talking about the ones that are tall and skinny and mount from the top to the bottom of the glass...like on real big rigs. anyone know what i'm talking about or where to find them.

something like this:

but specifically for our trucks

EDIT: ok, the one i linked to is here:
