From: lompoc ca,
air intake ?

replaced my return lines and man did I feel a diffeance in power at hwy speeds, Should of I ? Never really starded hard, idled a little rough at times and a slight smell of diesel in the cab at stop lights at times.? Appears to of all diminished, Also I have this thick black foam thing underneith my air filter do I need it... Looks like it would limit air flow ? Don't live or drive in dust areas.
Thanks for any answers,
1994 idi turbo
Bill,

Re:

Currently using the stock type paper filter, Was just wondering if without the foam piece under the filter would it filter enough with a turbo, Also did a little looking and found somthing called True Flow, vidio on there site was impresive or maybe just good marketing ?
Thanks,
Bill

Try a Purolator filter A44853.
No foam, but it does still have an open weave felt like a household furnace filter on the bottom of the filter pleats.

I have had good luck with them.
