Hood clearance
I searched and haven't found any threads but does anyone know if a performer intake with edel carb on a 351W will fit under the hood on a EB. I still have the stock 2 barrel but have decided to swap in a 4 barrel and performer intake. I barely have enough room with the 2 barrel. I think I can make it without the spacer. Anybody done it already? Also any opinions on the 500 carb vs. the 600 carb? I am running the stock cam.

yea, it will fit. you need the performer intake, edelbronck 600 carb, and a drop down air cleaner, and you will be fine. that is what i run, and i have no holes in my hood or a hood bubble. good luck. jake
