If you have aerodynamic headlights, you don't have a lot of options. The aero headlights use a 9008 bulb and Piaa isn't making them yet, so silvania is probably your best bet.

If you have non-aerodynamic headlights, you should upgrade to aerodymanics.

I use Sylvania Silver Stars. They work nice. Not sure about life yet. Had them in about 9 months.

I agree, the Silver Stars are a good "bolt on" replacement for the OEM's. Brighter and whiter.

We have 2 options for you Sylvania SS or LUXs Bulbs both rated at factory wattage.

Also you may want to upgrade and add the upgraded 9008 headlight harness to increase voltage for better lighting.

Id look into an HID conversion you can find a descent setup on ebay for about $99 bux on ebay nowadays and they last a LONG time and are WAY brighter then any standard bulb you can ever get your hands on. Upgraded a number of my cars with the ebay kits and am VERY happy with the quality and the light output is rediculous compared to standard bulbs. Ill never buy standard bulbs again.

You should check out www.danielsternlighting.com for some really good info on lamps before you buy anything. BTW, GE Nighthawk bulbs are available at Walmart.

Silver Stars actually produce less light than factory halogen bulbs. They are a very successful ripoff.

Sylvania Xtravision and the harness upgrade...basically the silverstar without the blue coating. Not a huge difference on their own, but with the harness they do great.

I've found the Silverstars to be rather poor when it's raining/wet out, much like any other blue coated bulb.

I would recommend the Nighthawks also (it's clear too), but I don't believe they make them in a 9008 yet.

I have spoke with Daniel Stern on multiple occasions, and the idea that SS's produce more light really frustrates him.

The bulbs, including the SS, that have a coating on the lens, will not produce as much light. The coating on the lens will "absorb" light.

A couple of good places to do bulb research are Daniel Sterns' site, and HERE
