Another newbie here
Hello all 
Newbie here . I drive a 2000 Ranger XLT exteded cab with 3.0L in it. Had a couple older rangers b4.
I am looking for a front sending unit for my son's truck,he is out in the Lone Star state and I am home in Northeastern NY state up near the Canadian border.
He has a 1979 F150 ranger Super cab 2 wd 460 CI , dual tanks and his front sending unit is leaking. Any ideas where he might locate one or is it possible to have the old unit rebuilt in a machine shop or place like that . Anybody have any thoughts on this or has done it? Thanks for any ideas. I know as time go's on I will be asking other questions and possibly offering my own .02 cents worth of knowledge.
