I have a 76' bronco with a 302. Putting a new exhust on it. What should I go with as a muffler? I'm leaning towards a 70 series Flowmaster. Will it fit ok? Dimmensions of the body are 22"L x 10"w x 5" thick. Lenghth from tip to tip is 28"?
I have the old 2 chambers on my Bronco and it is loud. I mostly use it off road and rarely drive it in town. If it were still a daily driver, I wouldn't be able to handle it. I have the same ones on my car and I am about to change them. THey were cool when Iwas younger, but now I can live without the headache and ringing ears. I have put just cheap Turbo mufflers on a couple of trucks and for the money they sound good. Not loud, not too quiet. If you want Flowmasters, and drive it every day I would go with the three chamber delta flows. I think that is the 70 series.

Try a Raven.....My 70 Sport has 3" stainless tubes off the collectors into twin mid line Ravens and it sounds(and runs) GREAT!...Think I spent 400$ on the whole rig.(Found the stainless at a Dairy Plant)
