No Shocks ?!?!?!

Well i was in the process just now of jacking up the back of my 79 F-350 CC to see if my dual wheels would fit on it. Before i even got the jack started i noticed there are no shocks on the rear end. I was behind the truck so i roll around to the front of the rearend and to my surprise there are no tabs on the rear or mounts on the frame for shocks. There appears to be no marks where they were cut/ground off. It seems like it never had any from the factory. The truck is 2wd. It has the Dana 70 full float rear end with a 3.73 Posi. The truck has the 2 1/2 in wide springs. There are 10 springs in the pack and 4 in the overloads. Everything seems to be factory. Has rivits holding on the overload brackets to the frame. Has all the factory spring clamps. This is my first F-350 so maybe they didnt have any back shocks from the factory?? It does have the front shocks. It just strikes me as odd.Oh and i think it is a camper special or trailer special. It has the holes under the marker lights for those badges but the truck didnt have any when i got it. It has the 1 1/8 lug nuts with the extra long studs. And it has the longer factory hubs. Hopefully this info will help in figuring this out. Thanks guys.
Dave
P.S. Lol maybe it was a friday truck!!
