Maybe missing

I've posted a few times with the new 94 F250 7.3 Turbo that I got last week. It has 130,000. What I've done on it so far is, New tires, new fuel filter, Oil and 7.3 powerstroke filter, Air filter, glow plugs and a few orings on injectors that were leaking after I had to disturbed them replacing the glow plugs. Questions I have are simple. I'm use to working on MB diesel for the last 10 years. I worked for ford as a B Mech in 1989 and 90 in PA. Then went to NYC and worked for GM and Mitsubishi, sterling. Then in 91 I switch careers. I always have loved diesel and have owned one for the last 10 years. Mercedes is what I know. Now I keep being told that the ford is not a Mercedes to anyone I speak to. They tell me to stop comparing them. But mechanically speaking, they are diesels and the concept is the same. Now the questions I have are. I was told here on this site that the amp meter flipping from side to side while the glow plugs are warming up is normal. If so, why when I changed the glow plugs yesterday, it went away? No more flipping while the wait to start light is on. Second, it feels like it’s missing at idle. I was told by family members that Chevy and ford diesel idle rough and that it is fine. Even when I give it fuel it seems to be missing. No smoke. On hard acceleration its fine. When I'm keeping highway speed, sometimes the truck seems to be shaking side to side. Not a wheel issue. New wheels balanced and new alignment. Now, I would say if it were a MB to look at the Engine mounts. I brought new ones. They will be installed this week when I have the time. Then as far as the missing, I would say that it seems to be an injection issue. The IP? Does anyone think that it could be that? The issue I'm having is that the local mech wants to charge almost $20 buck per injector to test. So I went on EBay and brought Remand injectors at a very good price. I also brought the fuel return kit, since the injectors will be out anyway. Does anyone have the same problem? Am I that crazy to want my F250 to Idle without hesitation and to run smooth? Thanks for your input.<O
