Changing balljoints E350 van

I have a little bit of play in my lower balljoints. They are not expensive to buy, but the labor seems a bit hefty. Have any of you ever changed your own balljoints on a one-ton van? I have done ball joints on a car a couple of times, but they were bolted onto the lower A-arms, and looking at the E350, it looks like they are a pressed fit into the A-arms. I can rent/borrow a balljoint press, but I have never had the need to use one previously. Any advice?

Here's a good article for a F150 (kudos to Racerguy), not exact but gives you an idea for what you're in for. A ball joint press can be rented for free at most mega auto part stores (autozone ect).
