alright... well i certainly am not going to be putting 89 or 93 in it if all its gonna do is turn my engine bay into a tailgater's dream grill (dont have to bring one with me) ... lol
its 83 till i get everything routine done that the PO's (also could be substituted for peice of sh**s) did not do for the last 10 to 15 years of this 25 year old trucks life...

If you want to help clean your fuel system on your next fill up put a can of seafoam in before putting more gas in it will help get the water and some trash out of your tank.
well i never used that stuff and it might get you more mpg but they way i see it if it done that it is not that much, and if it was a lot in mpg the oil companies would have done bought the rights to it. if you want more MPG you need to change the gear ratio that will lower the rpms which in turn lowers the amount of fuel /gas being used. that is the key everyone is looking at the engine to improve MPG when it is the gear ratio. is the key.

but doesn't the amount of fuel being dumped in the engine or how clogged everything is robbing the engine of power therefore making you press the accelerator more and end up running rich which is gas wasted? slight difference between gas efficiency and gas consumption
