Injector numbers

hey guys, I just got a set of working fine injectors, baught and paid for them to have a set of cores.

I looked on top of the injectors and thiers no label of an AA injector but all I could find is a navistar number saying the injector came out of a t444e engine between 94-96. Part number is #1816187c3. I'm assuming these would be an AA injector. The guy I baught the injectors off said the engine ran awsome and pulled awsome until the rollor lifter let go dropping the pushrod and screwed the camshaft. I know this cause I saw the carnage myself.

I did'nt pay attention to the numbering until I got it home so..........(shrugs)

If I'm not mistaken, the solinoids are black also???? If so they are AA. You will find AA with black and tan solinoids.

AA's are found in 94-96 as the 90cc injectors. then in 97 the injectors got bumped to AB's (120cc) which are found ONLY in the Cali powerstrokes and the AD's (140cc) which came in the 49 state powerstrokes.

Thank you, I had researched the number and the part number on the injector came up between 94-96. The powerstroke had thier own numbers, then this one only had the t444e number and was listed to belonging to a t444e engine which theroitcaly is the same. The listing excluded any f or e-series so I was not sure if they had a different flow rate, lets say the engine came out of a school bus or something.

I just want to be sure cause these injectors will make for a nice DIY upgrade.

No no no, the 94.5-97 49 state trucks had the AA 90cc. The 97 cali trucks had the 120 AB. Then in 99 they jumped to the AD 140cc. The only OBS trucks with larger injects are cali models and they are split shots

That means (to me only) that the 160CC's that are Stage I' or Stage II's are not that much of an improvement for the cost.

Am I right and can I get 350+ HP out of factory inj's with an h2e or d66 turbo with my given mods?
