Boost Guage Flutter

Just had some guages put in (along with cat test pipe, SCT XCal II), and the boost flutters pretty good from 15 to 25 PSI. The guages are Autometer Phantom Series II. Levi

Check the install, more than likely it is installed in the MAP sensor line with a T. Remove it from here and drill and tap the cold air return elbow on the top front of the engine and install the hose there.

Check and see if the pressure tube was installed by teeing into the black hose at the right rear of the engine, just by the heater housing. Can't recall the name of the sensor that is at the end of the hose. Lots of places tee into this line as it's easy.

Unfortunately, some gauges flutter with this connection. Mine did, I tapped into the intake elboe and solved the problem.
