sway bar

is the front sway bar worth any thing or should i just take it off?

all the rubber is coming off, and i wanted to know if i could just junk it.

It depends how you use the truck,, if its stays on the street only I'd keep it. It helps keep things stable on on-ramps and the truck will cornor better.

IF your looking for flex and its more of off-road truck....dump it

Those sway bars are getting very hard to find, so don't toss it! The bushings and the ends kits are available. Keep the bar, once removed you'll be amazed on how much good they do.

I drove mine for about two days without the swaybar after I put the lift on it. It's scary how bad it'll nose dive under just moderate braking....and don't even get me started on the lack of cornering. I had to get longer hangers for it to work right, but worht the effort to keep it IMO.

i took mine off. i have the quad shock front end and progressive springs though. mine drives fine on the road and better off.
