How do you Identify?
I need to know what kind of transmission that I have. I know that it is a 5 speed standard, but how do I find what kind of gears does it have?
And another thing, when yall change yall oil do yall ever have a "clatering" problem?

I think the sound you're hearing is the valve train complaining cause all the oil drained away. Once you're started and the oil pressure kicks in, oil is delivered to those complainers, and they get quiet..no problemo.
It may depend on the year. Try one of the tranny foruims here,,somebody will know. I've read the 5 speed has a .80 overdrive, whereas the 4 spd has a .70.
