Hello, I bought a 88 F-350 7.3, it has 32,000 miles and has set for 10 years, I bought it and started driving it, at 160 miles it started ticking, and thick white smoke. The smoke would take your breath away and was unburnt fuel, it has a slight miss and at the breather it sounds kinda loud, a lot different sound than my 94 non turbo. I changed the fuel filter and it had ton of water in it, I was wondering if my problem is in my injectors, I could have possibly got water through the injectors not sure though. It quit the thick white smoke when the fuel filter was changed, it still has the ticking, and at an idle it has a hard tick 2 to 3 times every 30 seconds. Please help, I don't really know where to start to fix my problem.
