Should I switch chips?

I have a 00 7.3 X with about 57k on the clock. When I bought the X almost 2 years ago it had an old Gold Superchip (1200 I think) in it. I read somewhere that it added something like 55 hp and 75 ft lbs of torque. I am wrestling with the idea of getting a chip from DP with hi idle, 40 tow, and 60 tow. I tow an 8000 lb Travel Trailer. My question is will this be enough of an improvement to justify the expense? While I am satisfied with the way it pulls now, I hear so many good things about DP Tuner that I am thinking this would be a good upgrade. My X is stock but I am putting a Walker BTM on next week. I am not looking for a hotrod. Just something to pull my TT well. I do have gauges. Boost, trans, and pyro. Thanks for any input.

Call Jody at DP and ask him. He's a great guy and I'm sure will honestly tell you exactly what you can expect. If you want something different, better, or personal done he'll do it. That's where I got mine.

My opinion is he probably has a better tune than the Super Chips. I had one of their programmers and I like his chip better. Just my $.02.
