At this time a non-pc move.

Okay, so I had a 96 Ranger 4X4 Ext. cab. I also still have a 76 F250 2X Super Cab long bed with a 390.

So now I've traded my Ranger in and am now going to get the 76 ready to be sold. I moved to a 02 F250 Super Cab Super Duty 4X4. And of course it's the gas V10. So a not so very PC move in this time of high gas prices.

So I'm checking in here now...
I really do like this truck. It should do the job of both of the trucks I'm getting rid of. The 4X4 for the bad weather of the winters we get here. And it should haul the pop-up camper I have on the back of the 76. It should also pull the 3600 lb horse trailer and horses while the camper is in the back. Not saying the 76 couldn't do the same, but it's only getting about 6 mpg at the moment. And the better 3/4's (not that she's big, but because she rates better than half in this relationship) likes it better and trusts it to get us, the camper, the kids and the horses where we're going, and in style and with the A/C running.

Not doing too much for now, just got to install the trailer brake controller and when the camper isn't in it a cross bed tool box. I'm going to get to the paint store and buy some paint to match and paint the tool box to match.
After that we'll see as it still has to work, pulling the horses, pulling a flat bed after hay for the horses and hauling the camper and so on.

I'll be watching and reading here more often. Been on the Ranger forum mostly, some on the "dent side" forum, and will continue to read the Ranger as I'm still working on a 84 Ranger for my son.
