It would be hard for me to believe the programming would be the same for the different types of sensor inputs. Wouldn't it be best to get a computer that is optimized for the changes you make to the engine to take advantage of them?

The connect into the PCM should be the same, you will need pin outs for the old and new PCM. You will also have to add the MAF harness and run it back to the PCM. Sensor should be the same, but I don't have any way to confirm that the ohms are matched.
