fuel tank question
will a tank out of a gas true work in a diesel? i hav a new rear tank out of a gas job i used to have, and a parts truck i have has a nearly new front tank. the reason i am asking is recently my 1987 f250 kicked out of gear while i was at work and rolled down a pretty steep bank and into a ditch nicely bendin the front frame. luckily i recentally bought a 1991 f350 with a ZF complete minus the motor for only 500 bucks! i am planning on using my motor on that chassis now and while i hae everything apart i would like to put in these new tanks if the will fit

There was controversy re internally galvanized tanks and Diesel fuel years ago..... I would think that all newer "gas" tanks are now coated different..... if you can check with the manufacturer that would be good.
