Replacing Fluids?
On my 1978 F250 XLT 400 4spd manual trans, part time 4x4, I am wanting to replace the fluids in the transmission, transfer case, front end, and rear end. I don't know when it was done last so I figured it wouldn't hurt. I would like to have an idea of the quantity of fluids each takes. But I do have some lubes on hand and this is what I have and planed on using. 10 qts of Mopar Gear Lube 75W-90, 4 qts of Mopar Gear Lube 80-90, and 6 qts of 75W-140 Synthetic. I also got about 10 to 12 tubes of limited slip additive too. But my 78 does not have limited slip. What would you recommend where? Thanks for your help.
