D2 Valve Replacement
I wasn't planning on replacing the valves on my 360-390 rebuild, but after pulling the springs, valves, etc. I'd just feel better with something new in there.
They're D2 heads from a 74 360. Couple of questions. What valves should I use? Is it best to replace the guides while I'm at it? I'll be getting springs to match a 941 cam. Any other tips would be appreciated.

You're gonna want new guides, valve stem seals other than stock (not sure of all the options besides teflon), hardened seats!!!! hardened seats!! Make sure your machinist is aware of you needing hardened seats! Otherwise you'll end up like me and some sunken valves after about 5,000 miles.
