Paint Cracking
Doing some reading on the Excursion forums I've see people having issues with their paint cracking. My parents have a black '01 Limited and the hood looks terrible the way the paint has cracked and now peeled.
I just bought a used black '03 Limited and it had some cracking on the hood and now I'm seeing cracking on the roof of the truck.
Has anyone dealt with Ford and had them fix this issue? If so who did they contact?

I had an older car with the same problem. I used Nufinish as a wax on it and did one coat a month for 2 months. It sealed the problem for a while. Still lost the paint eventually but it took a couple years from the time of first cracking.
