I've got a 2003 EB Expedition with memory mirrors and seats. My problem is that the memory mirrors go crazy about every third time I start the car and move to totally different positions. I've got to manually move them back before driving the car. Has any on else experienced a similar problem?

If you use different remotes ie. your spare...it will change it to that particular setting. When I snag my spare key and use it to unlock I smash my knees into the damn dash as it switches the positions to the #2 setting for the Queen Bee. Im not sure how to turn it off but I was quite ticked off til I realized what was going on. Im not sure how to turn that option off.
there is a tsb on that issue too. i think they got rid of the memory mirrors in 04 due to the problems that were arising. ill try to pull the tsb at work tomorrow.
I have an 03 Eddie Bauer, and get the exact same thing, but only with the offside (passenger) mirror. It's quite annoying really. Does anyone know of a solution to stop this hapenning?

Most likely it's programmed that way from the Keyfob. Basically you need to read the manual and reprogram everything. It's pretty simple. I did it a while back and fixed the problem.
