Most will tell you to stick with the factory intake and DO NOT use aftermarket filters. Exhaust should be ok just keep an eye on egt. Also you may want to look at the SCT tuner as it is the only good tuner for the 6.0.

Ditto...you didn't post which engine you have but if it's a diesel, stick with the factory intake and Motorcraft air filters.

As a matter of fact, stilck with the Motorcraft for oil filters and the oil too.

do not do the edge there is a reason he was selling it for $130.00 it was to raise money for his new headgaskets! stay away from the aftermarket intakes as well as allowing in more dirt particles they also can cause issues with sensor readings due to poor a/m engeneering, I do think you will be well swrved by putting the money into a 4" cat-back exhaust as these motors respond very well to the increased outflow. And finally I would suggest a sct x cal II from LIPD tuned by Matt PSD6.0FX4 as he can set it up to safely out perform the edge & not blow your headgaskets or grenade youre trans, good luck with the mods & I look fwd to hearing youre results or helping any way I can.

it is entirely possible to lift the heads on a 6.0 with any inline fuel module as they give false information to the pcm as to actual operating conditions! be very careful with youre right foot & you may be ok, however I personally would not tow with the edge & especially not without a pyrometer, do a search on "inline fuel devices" & make the descision for yourself' I can only speak from my own experiances as I now have a $1100.00 engine monitor on my dash (banks six-gun w/power pda) that I will not run on any setting but stock, I have replaced it with a sct x calII from Matt at lipd please dont get discouraged by some of our negative views on power equipment just keep in mind that we have allready made the mistakes & some of us have paid dearly for them in motors & trannys. just ask questions abought everything you want to try & you will get absolutly the best honest ansers & advice you will find & will get a ton of HP at a fraction of the price with piece of mind that you will not destroy your engine Ihope this helps & Kindest Reguards, Jim.

42ninef100,

Listen to these guys as they are giving you the truth. hotroddsl is spot on, you are well to heed of his advice.

By the way headgaskets and ARP studs are $1800-2000 installed.

Good luck
