I have a 1985 F250HD i wan tot put a Dana 60 under it before i lift it. I asked this before but what all do i need to get to do so. And doe sthe rearend have to be a Dana 60 too.
Your rear end should be a Sterling 10.25, full floating. There would be no reason to go to a Dana 60 rear as that is a step down in strength. Make sure your gears match, as M1llion pointed out.
The front Dana 60 you will need is out of a 1985.5-1991.5 (all king pin models, balljoint models to 1997 should work as well). You will need to grab the axle, the "U-bolts", the cast iron spring plate(s), the panhard bar (track bar?) and frame bracket, and the front drive shaft (maybe, can't remember if the D60 trucks had Double-Cardan jointed drive shafts). I think you need the drag link link as well.
