What is the EVAP system?
Got a check engine lite,06 Ranger 4.0L V6, yesterday, got the code P0442: EVAP system leak small. I checked here for the code and saw it didn't appear to be CRITICAL, but I'm still curious to know what exactly the EVAP is and what it does.
Cleared the code and if it comes back I'm going straight to FORD, under warrenty and all.
