Camping I'm doubting. But the boat has a really good chance of seeing some water. Have my new Tach, and Chrome valve covers should be here soon for the 79 (ebay) so I have truck toy's to play with.

I'm SOOOOOOO jealous. Guess who's dumb butt is working Saturday AND Sunday? I do have Monday off tho, and so far, I think I'm planning to hold down my Lazy Boy.

Perhaps a beer or two in my hand as to add weight...ya know, to keep the chair in one place...

I'm working Friday, Saturday and Monday, but off Sunday at least. Sunday I may be putting the truck back together. lol Yeah, Friday night I'm either gonna run a 12.1 or blow it up trying. Will be in Rogersville at the Ozark International Raceway Friday night about 5:30if anyone wants to see the inside of a 6.0L diesel. ROFLMAO

 

My wife and I and our two boys are heading for Table Rock tomorrow morning. We just bought a new boat (new for us I shoud say) and can't wait to get it wet. We're staying down there till Monday. Luckly I went to the dealship this morning to get an oil change and tire balance. I thought i'd started to develope an oil leak (marks on the driveway) and asked them to die the oil so we could determine where it was coming from, but when the tech was underneath he said it wasn't oil, but dirty deisel. He started looking up top and found the petcock on the fuel water seperator was leaking and I had a nice puddle of deisel in the valley. One hour and $180 poorer and no more leak. One of the body shop guys came over and asked if I was looking for a 5th wheel tailgate and said he had an all steel Airgate tailgate same color as my truck with diamond plate on the top and he only wanted $75...SOLD. I feel for you guys working this weekend, I'm low man in my shop and still don't know how I managed to score this four day weekend, but I not asking either (just in case nobodys noticed). I'm looking forward to coming to one of the get togethers this summer; from reading all the posts it seems like there are a really good group of people here. In closing, as a Vet myself I'd like to ask all of you Vets and not to take a few minutes this weekend to remember those aren't here to share this with us and lift one to their memory. Now I find out about it.

 

Didn't go anyway Brian. It was raining and the track was closed. I think God is telling me NOT to run the truck until I get the new turbo installed and control the EGT's.

 

Oh....Nm then.

I'm going to be working on getting my new trailer ready to go to work. Not a very good picture of it cuz its just off my cell phone but I'm hoping to get good pictures of it after I have it lettered and the rest of the lights put on it. Its a 18x7 Doolittle with an enclosed gooseneck. Overall its about 26 feet long but I didn't have the extra lights ordered so I'm gonna have to wire some more on.

 

Ah, Terry, I haven't been without Duct Tape since the KCIR incident. I carry enough to make ALL new CAC tubes from scratch.
