Bronco Swap?

Hi all,
I'm new here but not to Broncos. I'm in the process of swapping the entire drivetrain from my old rotted out body/frame to a new body and frame and I'd like some advice on how to proceed. They are both of the '78 variety. Are there any good technical articles on the net about swapping axles, specifically dealing with the front coil springs and how to remove them safely?
Thanks,
Eric

Bronco Swap?

Heres some info on safely removing the coil springs. Jack the front end up by the frame so the front axle just hangs. There is a clamp on the top of the spring that holds it on with two bolts, one on the side and one on the top. Get that bracket off and look at the clamp at the bottom of the spring. You should be able to just
twist the spring and it should come out without it being compressed. Just remember, that spring likes its home and will probably not want to go without a fight.
