Who's to say what the best is? I have a skyjacker, that lifts the truck up nice and high. I hear Rancho's pretty nice, but also pretty expensive. My 79 Bronco shimmys like crazy with the 40 inch tires I have on it, but when I put the 33's on (for inspection) it rides like a cady (in comparison). I don't really know what to say. What kind of application are you going to be using it for? Just thought I'd respond since no one else has.
xavetarx, what did you do about about the front shock mount on the drivers side that the track arm bolts to? Do you have a drop shock bracket or an adjustable track arm? I installed one of these brackets on my 78 f-150 and found out the hard way that my old bracket (without shock mount) was a dropped one for the 4 inch lift. I have been trying to find out a solution to this problem for quite some time and know one has been able to give me a straight answer. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanx!!!

I used it, didn't have a problem with anything interfearing.

I have an adjustable track arm.

I'm not sure about any of that other info you are looking for, sorry.
I've had 2 previos broncs lifted a '79 that just had a 3' body lift and 36' tires (rode great), then I put a 4" econo lift (Coils and add a leafs ) made plenty of room for 39.5's. Don't go for economy. No matter what size tire it rode like h--l. Very unsafe. Flipping the trackbar around and putting polly C-bushings and a drop pitman arm really helped, but you still had to "drive" it. Later on I bought a 78 and that was my favorite (I want another just like it). It had a 4" susp.with cutout flares and 38.5" swampers. (plenty of room and was stable, tracked streight, and rode good, and was just the right height.).It's suspension was done right. drop brackets for the radius arms, drop pitman arm, drop bracet for the track bar, and poly bushings all around. That front was tight and centered and I did,t have major u-joint trouble. I would deffinatly spend a little more and get a "complete" kit. It will make your truck a lot more enjoyable.
