MLP switch for backup light

Went for a vehicle inspection yesterday and found out my backup lights are no longer working. Bulbs are fine, fuse is fine and no obvious wiring issues. Anyone know the pinout for the MLP switch on the side of the tranny. Also, dealer told me that a special tool was needed to align the switch (if it turns out to be the problem).

I am new to this forum and just purchased an 04 F150 Lariat 4x4. I am pleased with the truck but found out during a routine oil change that my backup lights to not work. Any ideas on troubleshooting this? The bulbs are good.
