I tried welding when I was in highschool and really sucked at it. I have a buddy that is a real good welder but doesn't have the proper machine. He say's if I get the right machine he will come over and teach me on the Pintero. We'll see.

Chad is right, it's all about practice. Can I weld.....YUP, am I a welder......not by any streatch of the imagination. If you sped enough time doing something your are bound to get better at it. A good machine does make all the difference though, even the best welder will have welds that look like dog doo if he uses a crapy machine lol

Maybe there's hope for the Pintero yet! All I need to get started is to get the doors and the rear hatch welded shut. Then I can concenrate on the cutting of the roof and and fabbing the interior.
