As you all know I am getting 33" tires soon and after reading everyone's comments...I am lookin for some 'better' gearing. I don't know much about this stuff so forgive me for sounding stupid. I am lookin for 4.10 gears for both front and rear. Can anyone point me to a website or retail parts store where I can get/order these components?
Thanks
www.4wheelsparts.com or www.ring-pinion.com. Either site should have what you need, especially ring-pinion (Randy's Ring & Pinion), not sure if www.summitracing.com or www.jegs.com will have the ring and pinion sets you need. You may also want to Google "ring and pinion set" and have fun picking through the results, but all the info I've given so far should be sufficient, as I know 4wheelparts and Randy's have them last I checked, which has been in the past couple of weeks. Hope this helps
I'm running stock Bronco II axles in mine with 4:10 gears running 35x12.50x15 BFG MT's with no problems. I 4 wheel (Rock Crawl) with it all the time..steadily for 3 yrs..never had any problems. It's all how you are on the pedal..heavy foot=breakage. Just enough gas to get the tire to turn.
