if your stock, you'll definitely have a lag waiting for the turbo to spool. the intake and exhaust up grades will help that. make sure your exhaust system is turbo back, gotta ditch the factory down pipe. i dont have a chip or upgraded injectors, so i cant comment on that.

lazer, I went from 255hp/514tq on nitrous to 377hp/697tq on nitrous after the DIY Stage 1 injectors/SD HPOP/and correct tuning. So 122hp and almost 200tq.

Yes, the DIY kit comes with everything you need. And if you have more questions, Jim is great to deal with and a tremendous help. Hope that helped man.

If you got the cash anything is possible, havent you ever heard that before? lol, Diamond Eye makes a 5" kit for our trucks. their the only ones that do. they also are the only ones to make a true 4" dual exhaust kit for our trucks. its pretty nice. I have a one-off BDP downpipe, its a true full 3.5" pipe. I have a few Fuel system mods I cant share. Gotta stay ahead of the comp some how, lol

I understand. My DP is a true 3.5 also but I didn't think you could gain much more with any bigger than 3.5 or 4.0 pipes. I must be wrong. Then again it seems that if it goes from 3.5 to 5.0 you have less flow probs.

I have thought about it and if I do what i want I may remove muff. and exit in front of rear tire. No more over axle and exit quickly.

5" is usually just for those that go bigger for greed, which is me. I dont like the exit in front of the rear tire setup, to much cab noise for my old ears. You have a 3.5" turbo outlet DP? or does it go 3" and spread to 3.5" past the fire wall?

I will remeasure but I bought a 3.5". It looks a little funny at the turbo outlet because it has about 1/2" of smaller pipe and then imediately goes into a larger pipe that is welded on, then goes...doowwwnnnn.
