Another exhaust question

Haven't seen this covered yet. I have an 03 F250 6.0 with a little over 100,000 on it. A friend has proposed cutting open the converter and gutting it. That way it still appears factory. Is this going to be any help on sound or performance?

yes some have done it...but u can get a delete pipe for your stock system as well as a muffler delete and just swap em back in if u need too.
