Anyone use Verizon Navigation yet?
I have used the service for several months, and am satisfied with it. Only disappointment was that if you have a planned route established to somewhere where this is no Verizon data service, then the instructions freeze up (no more updates) when you are out of data service. Without data service, you can't even get your local GPS coordinates. Note that in more "rural" areas, Verizon has third party agreements to provide voice coverage, but doesn't necessarily have data service. If you can live with this restriction, then I think this is a very good alternative to a standalone GPS. The least expensive standalone units don't give the minor street names on spoken directions (you just get turn left at the next street), whereas the Verizon solution (and more expensive standalone units) always pronounce the street names for every turn.
