I went to start my Bronco 86 full size...And this is what happened!I went to turn it over,And it Just started to Sound like i floored it...So i turn it off..And started it again!Same thing??I looked at the cable to the gas peddle and it was loose,And the peddle was to the floor..looked at the carb,It was leaking gas...And the spring to the throddle was missing...Any ideas???Can it be from the missing spring or the fuel leak??
yo, spring is prob the culprit...you may need a new carb/manifold gasket because the throttle mechanism pulled the whole carb at an angle .. just torque the carb down for now and get a new spring.
Thanks Aim, For replyin'...It turns out that my carb was a mess, The butterflies were shot! And there is no spring thingy! after all...Take it from a chevy lover.lol
