I have a 351 W I was wondering if the fuel pump cup was off the camshaft would it make it run rough? Also if the resister block was before the coil would it burn the points up on a duel point distribuator? One looks burnt and one doesn't. Thanks.

Your profile says: 1976 F150. NO 1976 Ford F100/350 has a 351W, unless it was swapped in. No 351W in F100/350 till 1980.
Fuel pump cup? Do you mean the cam shaft eccentric that the pump operates from? If that was "off" the engine wouldn't run. The eccentric is not part of the camshaft, it's a separate part.
Resistor block? What resistor block? Was it added when the DP dizzy was installed? There is the resistor wire:RED with two GREEN stripes that feeds from the ignition switch to the coil.
